The beauty of living on an island is we have lots of different swim locations available to us. Generally speaking it's more enjoyable to swim when it's calmer and the winds are offshore. So when the wind is blowing from the east, we pick swim location of the western side of the island, either at Alonnah or Lunawanna.
Locations include
- boat club at Alonnah
- the beach in front of the pub, Alonnah
- Cemetry Rd beach, Lunawanna
- near the boat ramp at Daniels Bay, Lunnawanna
If it's blowing westerly, then we swim on the eastern side of the island.
Locations include
- Hanssons beach, just before Adventure Bay
- Quiet Corner at Adventure Bay
- main beach at Adventure Bay, opposite the general store
